The Woman’s Friend Society has been an innovative force for the flourishing of girls and women in Salem since its founding in 1876.

Bev will speak about the women of Emmerton House in the 1890s and the working women of her award-winning historical novel, The Rowans, set on Cape Ann in the 1750s.
